Institution Description

The Baixo Vouga Hospital Center (CHBV) is a public corporate entity of the National Health Service created in 2012 and which comprises three hospital units:

  • Infante D. Pedro Hospital, E.P.E. (Aveiro): CHBV's registered office;
  • District Hospital of Águeda;
  • Visconde de Salreu Hospital (Estarreja).

CHBV's MISSION: to contribute to health and well-being through the provision of quality care to each patient, integrated clinical practices, training and research.

CHBV, EPE is a founding member of CAC Egas Moniz Health.
