It resulted from the "LEARN: COMMUNICATE CLINICAL TRIALS IN A PEDIATRIC ENVIRONMENT" project and received the AICIB 2021 award granted by the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation to Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Santo António.

Clinical trials directed at children and young people have particularities that differentiate them from adult studies. Participation in a clinical trial is a joint decision between the physician, the patient, and caregivers based on the available information.

The video shown here is directed at the pediatric population and represents a small contribution to this decision-making process, sharing information that can be easily understood by all.
