I Conference on Clinical Research and Scientific Activity
On June 22-23, 2021, the "I Conference on Clinical Research and Scientific Activity: Synergies between Hospital and Primary Health Care" took place. Promoted by the Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira - Guimarães, through its Academic and Training Center, and by the Alto Ave ACES. The sessions were located in the large Auditorium of the Vila Flor Cultural Center (on the 22nd) and in the HSOG Auditorium (on the 23rd). More than 200 participants from across the country participated, with the essential objective of presenting new models of cooperation between national public service institutions, promoting the sharing knowledge and experiences.
The first day of work was dedicated to debating the synergies between hospital and primary healthcare, with interventions from representatives of healthcare, education and research institutions, with the goal of creating opportunities for scientific collaboration. Several institutional synergy projects and a set of oral communications were also presented, demonstrating the work and commitment of all those involved.
The second day was dedicated to workshops with the themes "Research Methods/Techniques and Literature Review", "Outputs of Scientific Research: Publication of Results" and "Methodologies and Types of Data Analysis in Health".
