Lusíadas Saúde awarded at the AICIB Awards ceremony

Grupo Lusiadas Saúde project was selected to receive the AICIB (Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation) 2021 award, on November 9, in the auditorium of Infarmed – National Authority for Medicines and Health Products, in Lisbon.

This competition is aimed for clinical research centers of hospital health units of the health system in Portugal.

On November 9, at Infarmed's headquarters, in Lisbon, 100 people were present to attend the AICIB 2021 Awards ceremony.

These awards aim to support training projects presented and developed by the clinical research centers of the hospital health units of the health system in Portugal, with the aim of promoting their organization, professionalization and improving their performance, increasing the confidence of promoters and the international recognition of Portuguese clinical research centers.

The 14 awardees were the clinical research centers of: Hospital Senhora da Oliveira – Guimarães, IPO do Porto, Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto, Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João, Centro Hospitalar Universitário da Cova de Beira, Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra, Hospital Distrital da Figueira da Foz, Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Central, Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Ocidental, Hospital Doutor Fernando Fonseca, Champalimaud Clinical Centre, Centro Hospitalar de Setúbal, Hospitais do Grupo Lusíadas Saúde e Hospitais do Grupo CUF. Foram ainda atribuídas 3 menções honrosas aos centros de investigação clínica do: Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Norte, Centro Hospitalar Barreiro Montijo e Centro Hospitalar de Entre o Douro e Vouga.
